Have you ever wondered what goes on in the mind of the rich (and famous)? Were they so different from most other people? What gives them such an edge that makes them successful while more than half of the people on the planet are not? Well these and some other financial questions are now answered.
Did you know that the wealthiest 1% of the world’s richest persons own 48% of the entire world’s riches? And before you point out that inheritance is probably the root of all their wealth, let it be known then that only 11 out of the 80 richest people on the planet were born with silver spoons in their mouths. The rest started somewhere near the bottom pile and managed to climb their way up. How’s that for a success story? So instead of swallowing a bitter pill and start hating the rich, why not look at them as great examples of how you can grow your own wealth.
1. The Rich Believe in the Law of Income.
Do you believe that everyone should be paid the same or do you believe that payment is given according to the value they bring to the organization. They say that poor people think that they’re entitled to receive the same pay as everyone else, regardless of what they do. On the other hand, the wealthy thinks that a person should be paid according to their output.
2. The rich focus on opportunities and not obstacles.
Most regular people will be daunted and will halt the pursuit of their dreams because of poor life conditions, apparently, the rich do not think that way. Poor people give up when they should be moving forward. On the other hand, the rich see opportunities in every obstacle that gets thrown in their way.
3. Rich people associate with like-minded individuals—positive and successful.
The rich are more than aware that attitude is key to everything. They hang out with people who have the same vision as theirs. If you build relationships with people who are solution finders, talks about success and constantly try to improve themselves, then it won’t be long before their attitude rubs off on you. So if you want to succeed, correspond with people with the same goals as yours.
4. The rich people promote themselves and their worth.
The poor don’t usually get what they want because they have a tendency to downplay the things that they can do. The rich however are not afraid to highlight their skills. To be wealthy, you must learn how to become a good salesperson.
5. The rich grow bigger than their obstacles.
People are always being tested for boundaries and resilience. The ones who can go out of their comfort zones and then succeed are the true winners in life. When the poor face challenges, they often attribute it to bad luck so they can sleep better at night. The rich however gain their fortune by working and finding solutions to their problems. That’s how they provide worth and value to their team.
